Reading Material

It is a timeless piece of literature that is a mandatory read. F. Scott Fitzgerald’s, The Great Gatsby, focuses on a mysterious character who keeps his acquaintances curious and his endeavors unknown. His name is Jay Gatsby. The epitome of finesse, Mr. Gatsby is beyond cool. If you have not read this book, you must. I do not recommend you to read it, I force you to.

This novel, set during America’s Roaring 20s, touches the emotions of each financial demographic. The innuendos and symbolic messages the text consists of keeps the reader intrigued. The book touches the subject of happiness in life, romantic love interests, and financial ventures.

Although I have touched many different categories of Chivalrous Culture, I have been patient to express my literary inspirations. I complained about assigned readings when I was in Secondary School, but this is one book that I am glad to have read. F. Scott Fitzgerald taught me the differences between the societal financial classes, the importance of having supportive people around me, and lastly about superficial and genuine love.

I consider this book to be one of the foundations and inspirations of Chivalrous Culture.
